Frequently asked questions

Wedding catering at the client's home or hired villa: code 56.21.01 or the banquet-hall code?
Usually 56.21.01 when you bring the kitchen and service to the venue of the client's choice, such as villas or estates. If the event takes place in your own banquet hall, the code is 56.21.02 instead. The deciding factor is where the banquet is held.
I run a home restaurant and offer at-home catering: which ATECO code applies?
It falls under 56.21.01, which covers event catering at the client's location, including at-home service with a mobile kitchen. The difference from a food truck is that here you work on a commissioned basis for a specific event, rather than selling to the general public on the street as in 56.12.01.
