Yes. 33.20.01 covers the installation of electric motors, generators and transformers and of electricity distribution and control apparatus. It applies to the assembly and commissioning of the equipment, not its repair, which falls under 33.14.00.
Installing electrical wiring in a building — is that 33.20.01 or a construction code?
Usually not 33.20.01. Electrical wiring as part of a building falls under construction work, such as 43.21.01. Code 33.20.01 applies to the installation of industrial electrical machines and apparatus, not to building services.
What is the difference between 33.20.01 and the manufacture of distribution panels?
33.20.01 covers assembling and commissioning the apparatus; manufacturing it from scratch falls under the relevant production code, for example electricity distribution and control apparatus in 27.12.00.
