24.33.01. This heading covers open-section profiles obtained by progressive deformation on a roll-forming line or press brake, and profiled sheets formed or bent cold. If instead you manufacture insulated sandwich panels, the code is 24.33.02.
I make profiled roofing sheets and then fit them on site: do I stay in 24.33.01 or does it become construction?
The manufacture of the profiled sheet remains 24.33.01. On-site installation and fixing are separate construction activities. If instead you bend steel reinforcement bar in a workshop, the activity is rebar bending 24.33.03.
I start from coil, first cold re-roll it, then roll-form it into profiles: is it a single code 24.33.01 or two activities?
The roll-forming into profiles and open sections is 24.33.01. Cold re-rolling of narrow flat strip, if carried out as a distinct stage, is instead 24.32.00. When you bend the strip into sections and profiled sheets, the activity that defines you is this one.
