Yes, the repair of forklifts, cranes, hoists and other lifting and handling equipment is covered here. Lifts and escalators, however, are excluded: their maintenance follows the construction installation category, not this entry. For other general-purpose machinery see 33.12.59.
I also sell and install new forklifts as well as repairing them — do I need another code?
Usually yes if the installation of industrial machinery becomes a standalone activity: in that case the relevant entry is 33.20.09. This code covers the repair and maintenance of lifting equipment already in service.
